First Child of a Woman after a Long Wait will be Male

If a woman has no child for several years, then the first child conceived child will be male.
There are two variations:
  • When a woman wants to conceive a child and she fails despite her attempts. Then, if the father and family are supportive, then the first child will be most likely a male child.
  • On the other hand, if the family is pressurizing, and threatening for separation or using another woman, then the first child of the woman will be most likely a female.

In the first case and in general, the woman is motivated and hopeful.
In the second case, the woman is worried and depressed and afraid of darker future, which represents a survival crisis in language of genes. And so, according to the points raised in the article: Male or Female, the first child will be more likely a female.

After Death of a Child, Woman's Next Conceived Child will be female

Assume that we have a female, F, which a few children. At a given time, one child dies. Next time, after the death of the child, when F gets pregnant, then chances are that that child will be female.
Reason: The death of a child is a very depressing moment. It scares the female of the darker future. Therefore, when next conceiving, the gender is selected which has more likelihood of survival. And as told in "Consequences of Gender Roles", a female child has more chances of survival. So, next child is female.

Nature of Gender Selection and Human Societies

Structure of a human society is mostly based on the believes and prejudices, and perception of good and bad. Intuition plays little role in human society formation.
On the other hand, in case of other creatures, the society structure is based on intuition and circumstances.
Due to the above points, most of the time, the human society is based on very unnatural rules, customs, and perceptions. One such rule is the pressure on female for preference for a male child. This pressurizes female and makes her worried. Consequently, the natural survival procedure in the female for gender selection chooses female child, according to the mental and psychological status of the female.
All of this yields an irony. Society pressurizes a woman for a male child which results in a female child.

Male or Female?

The emotional and psychological state of a female at a given time determines the gender of the conceived child.
If the female is happy, motivated, hopeful, and/or postive about future, then the conceived child will be most likely a male.
If the female is worried, depressed, and/or has negative opinions about future, then the conceived child will be a female.
Reason: As stated in "Concequences of Gender Roles", a female child has more life expectancy than a male child.
In first case, when there are no worries, and future is bright, then it is time for domination of the group. This means, male children will be most likely conceived.
On the other hand, as described in the second case, when the future is darker, then its time for survival. This will result in a selection of the child gender whose survival chances are most and who is more capable on spreading the genes of the race.

Roles of Different Genders

Males and females differ from each other in physical structure and capabilities, psychological and emotion capabilities, life expectancy, and hormonal releases.
By nature, males are physically harder, emotionally aggressive, and adventurous. All of these match with their natural responsibilities, which are ensuring safety of offspring, domination of the group, search for food, hunting, and so on.
On the other hand, females are designed to rear offspring and take care of home when males are outside. They are submissive which increases the likelihood of the offspring survival. They are good in organization and have more aesthetic sense. They are more emotional which has double role, taking care of offspring and better mate selection.
Some Examples:
In all games and activities which require physical strength and agility, such as football, wrestling, cricket etc, men are mostly dominant in comparison of women. These games and activities closely match with hunting, fighting for defense, and fight-or-flight circumstances.
In activities which require aesthetic qualities, females are dominated, such as fashion and design, arts etc.
In the fields where more mental work is required for advancement of human kind, such as mathematics, physics, computer sciences, sociology and politics, males are dominated.
In the fields where care of others is needed, such as nursing and medical sciences, females are dominated. In medical sciences, when things get complex and tricky, males dominate.
In almost all of societies in the world, women are house-keepers. And men are expected to earn living.
Military and law-and-order agencies are dominated by men.

Main Article: Some theories about Gender Selection

Consequences of Gender Roles

Males are aggressive and adventurous. Due to this, chances of their death in younger age are high.
Males apply fight or flight strategy when in difficult situations. This decreases the likelihood of their survival and their genes spreading.
Females are submissive which increase the likelihood of their and their offspring's survival in difficult situations. They are more emotional which affects the adversary, which mostly consist on males.

Based on the above points, we can conclude that collectively, in any society, average age of females is always more than average age of men.

Some theories about Gender Selection

I am working on some theories which are related to gender selection at time of pregnancy. I will provide a brief outline and then some explanation.
All these theories are about human beings. In these theories, special cases are ignored because they do not represent the overall population.
These are not final thoughts. My views may change in future.
These theories are supported by my random studies, in which keeping track of references harder. And after studying, my personal observations (which are in support of the studies) motivates me to write them down.
These theories are my own and they might be wrong. They are only for information and discussion purpose.
The following are the links about other posts related to the theories.
